New laboratory boosts life science research

Through the incubator Lead, the University of Linköping creates a new laboratory environment for companies with laboratory needs in the region.
The investment is a part of the university’s focus on commercialization of research results, growth and innovation in the region, especially in the fields of biotechnology, physics and chemistry.
The new laboratory environment, inaugurated on December 10th, is located in the Mjärdevi Center, just a stone's throw from the University of Linköping. The laboratory is mainly a place for the companies in Lead, but it also creates opportunities for external companies to use the laboratories.
