The Summer Match for Students

An exciting, unique and developing entrepreneurship program for you as a student. The program runs for five weeks in the summer where you get the chance to give a researcher’s idea new opportunities.

Work with future technology

Are you looking for an exciting, unique and developing summer job? We are looking for students who want to be part of the Summer Match!

The Summer Match is an entrepreneurship program at LEAD that develops and accelerates ideas, based on research at Linköping University, into market-adapted products and services. As a student, you get the chance to get an insight into new business ideas, research, and at the same time explore its potential in the market and in society.

Together with another student, you are matched with a researcher who wants to get his or her idea on the market. Each match between students and researchers is unique with the starting point of creating teams with complementary experiences.

The tasks may vary slightly depending on the focus of the research idea and where in the commercialization process the idea is. Your main task is to work with mapping and researching the market and potential customers. You will then analyze and present the results of the work to the researcher and the idea owner as well as others involved in the Summer Match.

The summer match gives you as a student valuable experiences and networks. Your efforts can result in new solutions, agreements with customers and hopefully new companies,.

About you

We believe that you who are applying are driven, curious and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking on new challenges to develop and learn new things. In addition, you have a good ability to collaborate with other people.
